Family Feud
Over a hundred families show up to audition for Family Feud, which airs on WMYT.

More than 1,000 people watch the auditions over the two day event.

Survey says!!  WMYT MY TV12 hosted a casting call on May 9th and 10th, 2009, at Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte to find families to appear on the nationally-syndicated game show, Family Feud.

The event was a huge success, with 125 families auditioned for a chance to head to Los Angeles to win money and meet the one and only John O’Hurley.

Each family brought five or six family members to compete, and more than 1000 people watched the auditions during the two day event.

WMYT has a national reputation for staging successful casting calls.  Participants in the weekend event traveled to Charlotte from across the Eastern U.S. to audition.  The Family Feud casting director says there is no set number of families who can go to LA, and WMYT hopes to have a list of the winners shortly.

Family Feud airs weekdays at 6:00 pm on WMYT.
