Non-profits in North Carolina are getting another chance to enhance their landscaping. Applications are now being accepted for the 2009 WRAL Azalea Celebration.
WRAL-TV, MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM and ENCORE Azaleas are working with NC Beautiful to sponsor the celebration. Non-profits from across the state are eligible to apply for some of the 10,000 azaleas awarded annually.
The application deadline is September 9, 2009. Plants will be distributed on October 3rd.
