The Raleigh-Durham Spring radio ratings were recently released and WRAL-FM fared extremely well by showing growth in almost every day part and demographic. MIX 101.5 was #1 with Women 12+, and 35-64. WRAL-FM also continued to dominate the Women 25-54 cell by scoring an 8th consecutive #1 book covering the past two years. MIX was also ranked overall #1 with Adults 12+ Monday through Friday 6a-7pm.

Growth was very evident in morning drive with Bill & Lynda In The Morning, now ranked #2 with Women and Adults 25-54 and gaining momentum.

Midday with Diane Ramsey continued to top the ratings with Women 25-54, now #1 the past 8 books. Diane was also #1 with Women 18-49 and Adults 25-54.

Jim Kelly’s afternoon shift made it a clean sweep taking the top spot among Adults 12+, Adults 25-54 and Women 25-54.

The WRAL-TV 6:00 News simulcast continued its #1 ranking for the second consecutive book, the top choice among both Women and Adults 25-54.

Cornerstone, the Sunday morning Contemporary Christian Music show hosted by Jami Caskey was also ranked #1 with Women 25-54.

Program Director Barry Fox says, “It is hard to describe how proud I am of the continued accomplishments of the WRAL-FM staff. This includes not only the on-air staff, but the many folks behind the scenes who are absolutely dedicated to making MIX 101.5 and CBC #1.”
