WRAL-TV’s Football Friday Kicks Off 29th Year With New, Expanded Coverage On TV, Web, Radio, Mobile and Social Media

WRAL’s legendary sports anchor Tom Suiter returns to the air leading North Carolina’s most comprehensive high school football coverage. The 29th season of Football Friday kicks off August 21, 2009, at 11:35pm on WRAL-TV. Continuing its commitment to high school athletics, WRAL pushes its coverage into overtime with extensive reporting on radio, web, mobile and social media platforms.
WRAL’s sports radio partner and Capitol Broadcasting owned 99.9 FM The Fan ESPN Radio will broadcast live from the Game of the Week, featuring pre-game reports and interviews with Adam Harris and Nick Stevens.
Listen live to HighSchoolOT GameNight from Leesville Road High School on Friday, August 21st at 6:25pm. The Fan will also produce HighSchoolOT, a weekly, hour-long program dedicated to high school coverage Saturdays at 9:00am starting August 29.
