Charlotte’s WJZY helped sponsor the Carolina Panthers “All Pro Dad Father and Kids Experience” on Saturday, November 21, 2009. About 900 people gathered at the Panthers practice fields in uptown Charlotte to promote a special message:  Make time for your kids.

Fathers and sons…and daughters…rotated through different stations on the field participating in football drills and field goals, as well as giving hugs and compliments to one another.

Panther Alumni Kevin Donnalley was at the event and spoke to the crowd about the importance of making time for your children and having fun with them on a daily basis.

The All Pro Dad organization was started by former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy in 1999 and partners with professional and college sports teams to provide a day of fun for families.

Charlotte’s WJZY was on hand to greet participants and give them an opportunity to have their photo taken with the Cash Cow.

Thanks to WJZY’s Angela Golden for this capcom story & these capcom photos.
