Bulls Extend Annual Fanfest to Two Days
|
The Bulls will kick-off individual ticket sales for the upcoming season with Fanfest 2010 on Friday, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th. |
The Durham Bulls have announced Fanfest 2010, the annual “Opening Day” for individual ticket sales, will be held on Friday, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park . Anyone who purchases at least one ticket to a 2010 regular season Durham Bulls or Duke Blue Devils game will get a free lunch of ballpark favorites at the concession stands.
“The Friday event has been so successful over the past few years we’ve decided to add Saturday,” Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, “This should make it easier for families to come out and participate in Fanfest.”
Once again the Bulls will offer the “Field of Dreams” Experience, allowing fans to come down to the field to play a game of catch in the outfield or take a few swings in the batters box. Bats will be provided, but fans are encouraged to bring their gloves to have a catch.
Also, fans can take advantage of the Pepsi Ticket package that includes four tickets to any regular season Durham Bulls game, four Durham Bulls caps and four six-packs of Pepsi for only $44.
Other events scheduled for the 2010 Fanfest include:
- Wool E. Bull and Blue Monster posing for pictures and signing autographs.
- Up to 20% off selected Bulls Merchandise in the Ballpark Corner Store.
- Select-a-Seat event highlighting available season ticket and mini-plan seat locations.
- Create a video message to run on the giant video board in left field on Opening Night.
The Bulls open the 2010 season with the Spring Training Showdown against the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, April 3rd. For more information, please call 956-BULL (2855).
