Working together to keep potentially harmful, obsolete and end-of-life electronics out of local landfills, FOX 50 (WRAZ-TV) is teaming up once again with Creative Recycling Systems for their 2nd Ecycling event. The one-day event on Saturday, March 27, 2010, from 10am – 2pm, will be held at the following three Home Depot parking lots in Cary, North Raleigh and Durham:
- Home Depot in Durham on Mt. Moriah Road off 15-501
- Home Depot in North Raleigh on Capital Blvd
- Home Depot in Cary on Walnut Street
This one-day electronic collection event is FREE to the public and is expected to divert thousands of pounds of electronics from the local solid waste stream. The collected material will be processed by Creative Recycling Systems of North Carolina.
Using automated and state-of-the-art technology to responsibly handle end-of-life and surplus electronic equipment, CRS provides a true environmental solution for e-scrap.
