On Saturday, May 8, 2010, 96 teams competed to win the 3rd Annual Cornhole Cup benefiting the Prostate Cancer Foundation. This marks the second year the event has been held at the American Tobacco Campus. Over the last three years, participants have helped raise over $6000 to assist in the research in finding a cure for Prostate Cancer.
The event started in September ‘08 with just 32 teams competing in a single elimination tourney.
The 96 teams braved the windy conditions and competed in a double elimination tournament that went almost 7 hours long. In the end, team Joe & Mike defeated The Houlio’s for the coveted cup. This was the second straight year The Houliou’s have reached the finals but failed to win.
