FOX 50, WRAL-TV and WJZY-TV are all in the running for prestigious national awards for their work in promotion, celebrating the great work the creative services departments do in our CBC stations. FOX 50 received nine finalist nods in the 2010 PromaxBDA, while WRAL-TV followed up with three and WJZY is a finalist in one category.
The competition pits local stations against national networks and cable. In many cases the CBC stations were the only local station to be nominated in the category, a very impressive honor.

The Promax BDA Awards is the only competition dedicated to recognizing excellence in Marketing, Design and Creative content in the entertainment industry. The organization receives thousands of entries each year, so even getting to the finalist stage is a high honor.
Winners will be announced at the PromaxBDA 2010 Conference in late June.
