Hellickson, Jennings Selected to Futures’ Game |

Rosters for the 12th annual XM All-Star Futures Game were recently announced by Major League Baseball with Durham Bulls’ Desmond Jennings and Jeremy Hellickson selected to play.
Jennings entered the 2010 season as the top prospect in the Tampa Bay Rays’ organization and sixth in all of minor league baseball according to Baseball America. This season, Jennings is batting .273 with 16 stolen bases and a team-leading three triples.
Hellickson, the top pitching prospect in the Rays’ organization and 18th in all of Minor League Baseball, has served as the ace of the Bulls’ pitching staff this season. Hellickson is 9-2 with a 2.33 ERA and 90 strikeouts in 88.2 innings pitched. He leads the league in wins and is second in the league in strikeouts.
The XM All-Star Futures Game features many of the top Minor League prospects in baseball. The game will begin at 6:00 p.m. (EDT)/3:00 p.m. (PDT) and can be viewed live on ESPN2, ESPN2 HD and MLB.TV.
XM will provide satellite radio play-by-play coverage of the XM All-Star Futures Game on XM 175 in addition to its other comprehensive live coverage from Anaheim.
Taco Bell All-Star Sunday is the first of three days of All-Star events at Angel Stadium, culminating with the 81st All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 13th.
