MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM Hosts Backpack Buddies Food Drive August 19
Radio Station Collecting Food Items for Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Program

MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM will host its annual BackPack Buddies Food Drive Thursday, August 19th to help the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.
The drive will run from 6am until 7pm. Donations can be made at two different locations: Cary’s Crossroads Plaza and Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh.:
Over 91,000 children in a 7-county region rely on on free or reduced school lunches. The BackPack Buddies program provides backpacks filled with enough food for 6 healthy meals and 2 healthy snacks that kids take home weekends. The empty backpacks are collected after the weekend and refilled.
