American Tobacco and FOX 50 continue their team up with WUNC-FM and its popular Back Porch Music series to deliver ten great shows, all FREE, at American Tobacco’s amphitheater this Friday.
The Gravy Boys are the next act in the 2010 series. The North Carolina band perform Acoustic Americana music, drawing deep from the well of our country’s diverse musical heritage. The quintet have a variety of musical influences, both old and new.
The series wraps up October 8 with an All-Star Blues showcase. Full schedule listed below and here.
This year’s schedule marks the first time Back Porch Music has booked all the acts for Music on the Lawn, lending the annual event a sharp focus on authentic, danceable roots music. Also for the first time, Whole Foods Market, presenting sponsor of the music series, will offer a fine selection of natural and organic food during each concert.
So, grab your blanket, friends and family and make sure to mark your calendar for every night of this great series!
