MIX 101.5 held its first Taste of Home Cooking School on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at the Exposition Building at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.
Nearly 1,000 people came out to learn new recipes and tips for the kitchen. MIX’s Bill Jordan, Vanna Fox, Wayne Michaels, Diane Ramsey and Jami Caskey emceed the event. Taste of Home’s Cheryl Cohen was the culinary specialist.
The doors opened at 4pm and the show began at 7pm. Attendees had the opportunity to shop over 30 booths where they could purchase food items, jewelry, clothing and more. Attendees also received a swag bag full of goodies and registered to win over 20 great door prizes, including a full set of kitchen appliances.
