Over 25,000 people attended the largest Labor Day Weekend Parade in the Southeast on Saturday September 4, 2010, and Charlotte’s WJZY and My TV12 WMYT were right there!   Ten O’Clock News Meteorologist Eric Thomas and “TV12” rode in style along the parade route tossing out miniature footballs promoting My TV12 Game of the Week and High School Football.

Charlotte’s WJZY and MyTV 12 WMYT have been the official television sponsor of Matthews Alive for the past three years.  The festival spans four days during the holiday weekend and has over 200,000 visitors.

Thanks to WJZY’s Angela Golden for this capcom story & these capcom photos.
