WRAL Candidates & Issues Forum – Election 2010

Candidates & Issues As part of an ongoing commitment to improve the political process, by creating a more informed electorate, Capitol Broadcasting Company will provide air time for the Democrat and Republican Senate and selected Congressional candidates prior to the 2010 General Election.  

Senate candidates address the economy, immigration, terrorism, off-shore drilling and their top three priorities. The candidates for Districts 1, 2, 4, 7 and 13 recorded messages on the economy and their top three priorities.

These candidates for U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives are:

  3. G.K. Butterfield
  4. Ashley Woolard
  5. Renee Ellmers
  6. Bob Etheridge
  7. B.J. Lawson
  8. David Price
  9. Mike McIntyre
  10. Ilario Pantano
  11. Brad Miller
  12. Bill Randall

The messages will air during the WRAL daily newscasts at 6am on WRAL, 7am on FOX 50, WRAL’s Noon News, on WRAL at 6pm, at 10pm on FOX 50, and at 11pm on WRAL.

The Candidates & Issues spots will begin with the noon newscast on Friday, October 8th, and will run through Wednesday, October 27th.
