Miranda Lambert rocks the field as Durham Bulls & country music fans cheer. |
Award-winning country star Miranda Lambert rocked the DBAP on Thursday, October 14, 2010, turning the ballfield into a mosh pit of music fans.
Part of the CMT On Tour: Miranda Lambert Revolution, Lambert was joined by opening acts Eric Church and newcomer Josh Kelley as opening acts.

Capitol Sport Vice President George Habel covered the concert, from field preparation to the big night, on his blog “Note to Self”:
Miranda Lambert Wins Durham
Five thousand Miranda Lambert fans took possession of the the Durham Bulls infield Thursday evening…
…and they were possessed by the rising star from east Texas. Her avid admirers seemed to know each and every word of every one of her songs!
It was a BIG night at the DBAP – our first country concert in a town better known for the blues – but the ballpark was rockin’ to Josh Kelly, Eric Church and Miranda Lambert as the CMT Tour stopped in Durham.

Bulls GM Mike Birling waited patiently in line, the last to chat with Miranda Lambert at the Meet & Greet. |
