CBC Radio & Television Divisions Celebrate All-Star Weekend

The best of the NHL has arrived in Raleigh, and CBC is celebrating with special programming, sponsorships and more from our various radio & television stations.
On Friday, January 28, 2011, at 7pm, WRAL-TV will air a live NHL special featuring WRAL-TV Sports Anchor Jeff Gravley and WRAL-TV Anchor Debra Morgan live in the middle of the action with additional reports from WRAL-TV Anchor Ken Smith.
This 30-minute special will focus on the NHL All-Star Weekend … what’s going on and what it means for Raleigh. We’ll be covering the NHL All-Star Wide Open Event, which includes a Fan Fair and even WRAL-TV Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel in the snow.
We’ll preview the NHL’s SuperSkills challenge on Saturday … and the 58th NHL All-Star Game on Sunday. We’ll also look at the boost this gives to the local economy and the benefits of having a national/international spotlight shining on Raleigh.
