WRAL-TV always reports the headlines, but the Big 5’s online entity recently made headlines as well. The online trade publication NetNewsCheck posted an article on March 10, 2011, about how WRAL.com leads the local news traffic. Why is that a headline? WRAL.com leads web traffic in the Triangle. The article cites the fact that WRAL-TV is the #1 station for news, and that WRAL and Capitol Broadcasting are leaders in exploring and making inroads in the new media field.
