Join Lynda or Bill with MIX 101.5 in the Race for the Cure

Registration is now open for the 2011 Susan G. Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure, and MIX 101.5 is getting into the action! Join Team Bill or Team Lynda and race with us to help find the cure!
The race takes place at Meredith College on Saturday, June 11, 2011.

For those who prefer to snooze instead of lacing up their running shoe, click here to join Team Bill and register for Sleep In For The Cure. Sleep-In allows you to register and fundraise, in support of the NC Triangle Affiliate, from the comfort of your bed on Race Day. This is the perfect solution for those who aren’t morning people or are planning to be out of town on Race Day. You will receive a t-shirt and special Sleep-in fo rthe Cure bib with this option.

The Susan G. Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure raises funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
Seventy-five percent of the funds raised through events like the Race for the Cure go to funding grants in our 20 county service area at local hospitals and community organizations that provide breast health education, and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women in our community. The remaining 25% supports the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research at the national level.
WRAL-TV is also getting into the race with Team WRAL.
