Garner’s teenage music phenom Scotty McCreery has made it to the Final Three on American Idol, which means a whirlwind visit home for a celebration. McCreery will have appearances all around the Triangle this Saturday, May 14, 2011, and CBC will be there to bring you the action.
McCreery will first appear on MIX 101.5 for a short chat with Bill Jordan & Lynda Loveland. He’ll be on air with the dynamic duo LIVE at 8:45am. Fans are invited to cheer him on outside the station, welcoming him back to the Triangle.
Both WRAL-TV & FOX 50 will simulcast the music concert McCreery will perform in the afternoon. The concert follows a 2pm parade the City of Garner will hold in the country crooner’s honor. WRAL.com will live stream the concert as well as other events throughout the day.
