The 144th North Carolina State Fair is now underway, and WRAL-TV will be there for all 11 days of the fun.
WRAL-TV personalities will greet viewers in the tent near the Dorton Arena.
Monday, October 17, 2011, will be a particularly special day. WRAL is creating a PINK day at our State Fair Tent. On-air talent will wear pink and host representatives from the Susan G. Komen Foundation who will distribute Breast Health Awareness materials to fairgoers.

Ride to the Fair
Fair organizers are encouraging attendees to avoid the traffic jam & parking hassle near the fairgrounds by using public transportation.
Triangle fairgoers can ride a CAT bus for only $4 roundtrip. Check out the details here (pdf).
