The MidSouth Region of the National Television Arts and Sciences has once again honored WRAL-TV, FOX 50 and WJZY-TV with dozens of Emmy nominations. The Board of Governors also unanimously voted to honor Capitol Broadcasting and the A.J. Fletcher Foundation with the Academy’s highest honor, The Governors’ Award.
WRAL-TV tied for the most nominations of any station with 32 nods. FOX 50 and WJZY-TV received 10 nominations for their oustanding promotional work.

The 26th annual MidSouth Regional Emmy winners will be announced and awards presented at a ceremony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
The Nashville/Midsouth Region encompasses the States of North Carolina (except Asheville) and Tennessee, and the television market of Huntsville, Alabama.
