Created in partnership with the undisputed authorities on duck hunting, Louisiana’s Duck Commander, the iOS app comes fully loaded with features to help users hunt like the experts.
“We don’t do anything half-way,” said Willie Robertson, Duck Commander’s Boss Hog. “We sat all the guys down and decided exactly what a duck hunter would ever want or need in an app, and that’s what we got. This app will help you be a better hunter and give you some good ole Duck Commander entertainment when the days in the blind are slow.”
Users can manage their blinds and log their hunts via the Duck Commander app using current location, GPS coordinates or map location. They can keep detailed hunt logs with location, date and weather plus create notes, photos and videos to share with friends through Facebook, Twitter or email. Hunters can even select custom Duckmen wake up and shooting alarms.
The app also features weather forecasts, interactive radar maps, river levels, wind conditions, tides, and more for each blind location. The “Law Dawgs” category provides state laws, bag limits and shooting times.
Other Duck Commander app features include:
- Video of the Duckmen showing tricks of their trade
- Duck ID tools with photos, sound and descriptions
- Various decoy spreads for puddle and diving ducks
- Audio and video highlighting different duck calling techniques
