Lip Dub Back by popular demand, FOX 50 (WRAZ-TV) launches year two of the “FOX 50 Lip Dub Project” presented by Goodwill Community Foundation and sponsored by It’s Ok 2 Ask.

Last year, 33 local high schools entered a self-created Lip Dub video. Close to 250,000 online votes were cast with Clayton High School winning the grand prize of $10,000, followed by 1st runner-up Apex High School with $5,000 and the 2nd place runner-up Hobbton High School with $2,500.

The “FOX 50 Lip Dub Project” once again gives local high school students the chance to show off their creativity which could win their high school one-of-three cash prizes including the grand prize of $10,000!

  • The online entry period goes from February 23 until April 13 on FOX50.com.
  • Online voting begins April 23 running for two weeks on FOX50.com.
  • Open to all public and private high schools located within the following North Carolina counties: Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Northampton, Orange, Person, Sampson, Vance, Wake, Warren, Wayne or Wilson.

The top 3 high school videos, determined by most online votes, will win $2,500 for 2nd place (announced on May 8), $5,000 for 1st place (announced on May 9) and $10,000 for the grand prize winning high school (announced on May 10).
