American Tobacco to Host Emergency Action Plan Seminar on April 18th Registration Deadline: April 10th |
Sadly, workplace and school shootings are not rare stories on the news these days. In an effort to help make sure local companies are prepared should such an event occur in the Triangle, American Tobacco and Allied Barton Security Services will host an Active Shooter/Emergency Action Plan Seminar on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 9:30 – 3:00pm in Bay 7.
The workshop will include discussion of three stages of any emergency action: the planning stage, putting the plan into action when it’s needed, and the recovery from the incident.
A panel of local, state and federal agencies will be on hand to answer questions and help with individual needs. Break-out sessions will allow time for one-on-one time with experts.
Space is limited and the event is expected to fill fast. Find more information and a link to register here.
A light breakfast will be provided by Allied Barton Security on the day of the seminar. Registration deadline is April 10th.
