American Tobacco Welcomes New Jazz on the Lawn Concerts NCCU Jazz Ensemble To Take Water Tower Stage on May 4th |
American Tobacco’s FREE summer lawn series continues this Friday, May 4th, with a brand new feature. The NCCU Jazz Ensemble will kick off the inaugural Jazz on the Lawn mini-series at 6pm.
Performing at the White House, Euro-Disney and numerous Jazz festivals around the country and internationally including the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the Vienne Jazz Festival in France, the NCCU Jazz Ensemble is in a class by itself..

The music begins at 6pm under the water tower. Bring a chair or blanket and pick up dinner from one of American Tobacco’s great restaurants.
On the Lawn Presented by University Ford & Kia and Bull City Bucks will fill the next five months with some old favorites and some new features sure to be a hit among Triangle citizens and beyond.
The other Jazz on the Lawn concert in this new series will take the stage on Wednesday, July 4th. John Brown and The Groove Shop Band will play at 6pm on Independence Day.
The Jazz on the Lawn series is one of several FREE summer events at American Tobacco. Under the umbrella of the On the Lawn Presented by University Ford & Kia and Bull City Bucks line-up, Jazz on the Lawn joins the Back Porch Music Series, Movies on the Lawn; Pops for Pops on Father’s Day; and another new feature Dance on the Lawn.
