Movies On the Lawn The focus is shifting from live music to movies for the next FREE event in American Tobacco’s summer series. On the Lawn Presented by University Ford & Kia and Bull City Bucks features the first Movie on the Lawn of 2012 with “Under African Skies” on Friday, June 1st.

Paul Simon returns to South Africa twenty-five years after the release of the historic Graceland album to reunite with musicians and reconcile political debates.

The movie begins at 9pm under the water tower. Bring a chair or blanket and pick up dinner from one of American Tobacco’s great restaurants.

Full Frame sponsors the Movies on the Lawn series at American Tobacco this summer.Movies will also be screened on the following Fridays with a start time of 9pm:

  • July 6
  • August 3
  • September 28
  • October 5 

Movies on the Lawn is one of several FREE summer events at American Tobacco. Under the umbrella of the On the Lawn Presented by University Ford & Kia and Bull City Bucks line-up, the Movies on the Lawn events join the Back Porch Music Series; Pops for Pops on Father’s Day; and the new features Jazz on the Lawn and Dance on the Lawn.
