CBC Sports Radio stations added HD counterparts this spring, but 99.9 The Fan and 620 The Buzz are making more positive changes this summer and fall.
Starting Monday, July 30, 2012, Mark and Mike’s Morning Show will be expanding to the 5am to 9am time slot on 620 The Buzz. The 5am hour will also be airing on 99.9 The Fan. Speaking of the gridiron, Steve Logan will be joining the team this football season. Coach Logan will sit in with Adam and Joe on Friday’s during the 4 PM hour to talk college and pro football. He will join Mark and Mike during the 7 AM hour on Mondays to review the weekend’s action. Additionally Coach Logan will host 99.9 The Fan’s Saturday “Gameday Live” program.
“Coach Logan has the unique ability to take the football knowledge that he has gained throughout his years of coaching and present it in an entertaining and energetic manor,” said CBC Sports Radio Operations Manager/Program Director Jason Dixon. “He will be a solid compliment to the great football content that our regular hosts are generating.”
The stations are putting the finishing touches on their high school football coverage plan which will include a game of the week, a weekly high school football show, and reports throughout the week.
In even more news, CBC Sports Radio has re-upped with Chuck Kaiton and John Forslund to provide hockey analysis for the stations.
