American Tobacco Reschedules Two Concerts Cancelled Due to Weather The Lizzy Ross Band and John Howie & The Rosewood Bluff Get Another Shot at the Water Tower Stage |
The weather put a damper on two of American Tobacco’s On the Lawn concerts earlier this summer, but we didn’t want you to miss out on their great music. So on Thursday, August 30, 2012, American Tobacco and Back Porch Music are bringing The Lizzy Ross Band and John Howie Jr. & The Rosewood Bluff back for a rescheduled performance.
Lizzy Ross and John Howie & The Rosewood Bluff got rained out on their respective concert dates, but they’ll come to American Tobacco on August 30th for a rescheduled joint show. |
Lizzy Ross is one of North Carolina’s fastest growing stars. The songwriter is backed up by a great band that fills out her original Americana sound.
Check out a sampling of her music here.
John Howie has one of the most infectious voices in contemporary acoustic music today. His high lonesome sound will have people up and dancing a honky tonk swing.
Check out a sampling of his music here.
The music begins at 6pm under the water tower. Bring a chair or blanket and pick up dinner from one of American Tobacco’s great restaurants.
On the Lawn Presented by University Ford & Kia and Bull City Bucks will fill the next five months with some old favorites and some new features sure to be a hit among Triangle citizens and beyond.
