Former East Carolina University head coach and longtime college and NFL assistant coach, Steve Logan, is joining the lineup on WCMC 99.9 FM The Fan, WDNC 620 AM The Buzz and WCMC-HD2 The Buzz.
Logan will join 99.9 The Fan’s Adam Gold and Joe Ovies on their top rated local sports show each Friday afternoon from 4 to 5pm to preview the upcoming weekend in professional and college football.
Each Saturday, during the football season, Logan will also host “Game Day Live,” a two hour college football preview program airing 10am to noon.
Coach Logan will appear on “The World’s Strongest Morning Show” on 620 The Buzz with Mark Thomas and Mike Maniscalco Monday mornings from 7 to 8am (Due to the Labor Day holiday, his first appearance will be Tuesday, September 4). Logan will recap the week in professional and college football and preview the Monday night game.
Capitol Broadcasting’s sports radio program director and operations manager, Jason Dixon, said, “Coach Logan has the rare ability to take his vast knowledge of the game of football and present it in an entertaining and informative way. He will be a great addition to our lineup.”

Logan served as the running backs coach for The Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009 to 2011. He was offensive coordinator at Boston College from 2007 to 2009. He served as the head coach at East Carolina University from 1992 to 2002 where he became the school’s all-time most winning head coach. Logan has recently been named as part of the class of 2012 ECU Athletics Hall of Fame.
