Wool E. Bull is raising money for the Special Olympics of North Carolina. He wants to help more than 38,000 athletes participate in Special Olympics North Carolina year-round. See what Wool E. had to say about his latest venture:
When people think of me they think of all the good times they have at Durham Bulls games. Sure they see me doing silly things, hanging around with kids and making you smile. But what they don’t see is all the things I do off the field.
One of my biggest passions is helping local causes.
This offseason, I’m taking it to new heights. I am proud to announce that I am participating in an event called Over the Edge.
Here is the basic premise, if we raise at least $1,000 for the Special Olympics of North Carolina I get to rappel off of the Wells Fargo Capitol Center Building in in Downtown Raleigh on October 5th.
This is an amazing cause that I strongly bull-lieve in. So what do you say?
All you have to do is visit http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/woolebull/over-the-edge-raleigh and you will get to see a Bull come flying at you from 3,200 feet! Every dollar counts, so thank you for your support!
