Early Thanksgiving morning before your turkey’s hit the oven, WJZY CW46 was hard at work participating in the 24th Annual Turkey Trot.
This road race consists of an 8k, 5k, 1 mile fun run and a 26.2 yard toddler trot event. There were 9,000 people who participated in the event with many more on hand as spectators.
It was a great start to the day with beautiful weather and Carolina blue skies for all to enjoy.
CW46 staff was on hand and excited to use our new CW46 tent and tablecovers as well as handing out fun new goodies with our logo on them.
Our CW46 prize wheel got a huge workout as families stood in line to have their chance at water bottles, stadium cups, magnetic clips, and more!

WJZY’s bright new tent could be seen by all and a welcomed treat for runners were bottles of Powerade we handed out.
CW posters like Vampire Diaries and Arrow were big hits as folks shared with us what their favorite CW46 shows were.
Our clients were a part of the event as well! Sponsors included AAA of the Carolinas, Planet Fitness, HH Gregg, Subway, and Powerade.
