***Due to inclimate, the Art of Cool concert for June 6th has been RESCHEDULED for Thurs, June 13th***
American Tobacco will host the fourth and final “regular” set of a brand new set of jazz concerts on campus this Thursday, June 6, 2013. Art of Cool @ the Stack, a four-concert series, launched on May 16th with DJ Jamad. This week Al Strong takes the stage under the Smoke Stack at this FREE after work event.
Jazz comes to life in the concerts in the Art of Cool @ the Stack on Thursdays from 5-7pm.
American Tobacco is hosting the concerts in conjunction with the Art of Cool Project, a Durham non-profit “dedicated to presenting and promoting live jazz and related music in unique venues throughout the Triangle.”
Although the Al Strong concert closes the main series, the jazz won’t be over. It’s going to be a “cool” 4th with the Art of Cool at American Tobacco. Join us for this festival-like celebration as you await the Fireworks at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Thursday, July 4th. The Beast + Big Band / Apple Juice Kids (DJ) will take the stage under the stack from 5-8pm for the Independence Day celebration.
Tell your friends you’ll meet them at “The Stack”!
