MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM Announces New Morning Show Co-Host

Mike Chase will join Lynda Loveland as her new co-host on MIX 101.5’s Morning Show on August 12th.

Capitol Broadcasting Company’s MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM announced on Friday, July 12, 2013, that Mike Chase will join co-host, Lynda Loveland, on The MIX Morning Show starting Monday, August 12th.

“I am excited to join a terrific team at WRAL and work in a great place like Raleigh. Capitol is a sterling company and I feel very fortunate for this opportunity.” Chase says, “I think that as long as no one expects me to get up early, be interesting, entertaining or funny, this is going to go very well!”

When asked about her new co-host, Loveland said, “I can’t wait to get started with Mike on The MIX Morning Show. He has the kind of personality that draws you in and keeps your ears perked up. I foresee many memorable mornings at MIX.”

A veteran radio show host, Chase held the morning drive position for 13 years on 99.5 The Wolf (KWJJ) in Portland, Oregon. During his time there, he was instrumental in helping raise thousands of dollars for the Oregon Food Bank and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

“Morning radio listeners are in for a treat. Mike is smart, funny and brings a caliber of talent that should really ‘wake-up’ the market,” says Ardie Gregory, MIX 101.5 GM.
