CBC Invites You to Free Interfaith Breakfast on Martin Luther King Day

Martin Luther King, Jr.For the past 28 years, Capitol Broadcasting Company has served as the leading sponsor for the annual Martin Luther King Triangle Interfaith Prayer Breakfast. CBC is pleased to continue its support of this very important holiday observance.

This year, the event program on Monday, January 20, 2014, begins promptly at 7:15am and is scheduled to conclude at 9am. Due to parking and breakfast lines, all guests are asked to arrive no later than 6:30 am. The keynote speaker for this year’s event is The Reverend Dr. Otis Moss III, Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, IL.

WRAL-TV Anchor David Crabtree will also make a presentation about his recent trip to South Africa to cover the memorial service for Nelson Mandela.  WRAL-TV Anchor Gerald Owens will emcee.

The majority of the program will air live on WRAL-TV from 8:00-9:00am that morning. The breakfast can be seen live in its entirety on WRAL.com.  This is the third year WRAL has produced a live on-air broadcast of the event.
