Diamond View III recently won the Triangle Business Journal Real Estate Award for Top Office Development. With dramatic views of the Ballpark and ATC Campus, this clean line building came online in December 2013 with anchor tenant, FHI 360, moving in and taking approximately 97,000 square feet of Class A office space.
“It’s a great feeling to have a project recognized before its final completion,” says Michael Goodmon, vice president of real estate, Capitol Broadcasting Company. “We saw the need and desire for Diamond View III as a continued piece of Durham’s growth and renaissance and this award shows the community sees that vision, as well.”
Other business tenants will include Smashing Boxes, which started in the American Underground and LSG II, a full service print house should be moved in and operational by mid-year. The building, soon to be LEED certified, was actually started without an anchor tenant.
Also opening within the next 6-months will be a variety of grab and go restaurants to include, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Which Wich, and Ed Mitchell’s Que. Two additional restaurants are still in the works and should be announced soon.
