Hospital Digital SignageThe health care industry is often difficult to understand and navigate for many patients. Microspace Communications recognizes the gap in communication and is determined to help Healthcare professionals incorporate digital signage with their hospitals and businesses.

Clear communication and signage is necessary when people are concerned about their health and well-being. Can you imagine deciphering confusing directions in a hospital after an accident? We do not want you to! We understand that complications do arise and we believe that digital signage is the solution that can provide clear and accurate directions.

Follow MCC’s Digital Signage Advice in order to maintain a clear message to your patients:

Use More Than One Language

Language barriers are a constant source of patient confusion and traditional signage does not  provide an easy solution. Digital signage applications allow for language settings that can cycle through the languages or show translations side-by-side. Ultimately the geographic location of the facility will determine which languages and settings will provide the most clarity.

Keep Things Simple.

Complex language can appear confusing and will misguide patients. Use simple and exact verbiage to clearly direct patients to their destination.

Incorporate Interactive Maps

Navigation through a hospital should never be as difficult as finding a store’s location at the mall. Touch screens and tablet devices are being commonly used with digital signage applications to provide exact directions. There are times when people require more than the red “You Are Here” dot to pinpoint their location and a route to their destination.
