The first, daylong fundraiser on TV, radio, web, and social media, to help fund the innovative programs of our local non-profit Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.

“We believe we can use the joint power of our companies to reach hundreds of thousands of people,” says Steven D. Hammel, Vice President and General Manager of WRAL-TV. “The first step to solving this is educating our viewers and listeners to the crisis we’re in.”

Radio One Raleigh’s Regional Vice President and General Manager, Gary Weiss agrees.  “One in four kids going hungry in this state is completely unacceptable. Together, we believe we can make a fundamental difference for families who are struggling.”
