Durham Bulls Advance to Governors’ Cup Final

Keep the CupThe Durham Bulls advanced to the Governors’ Cup Final for the second straight year after beating the Columbus Clipper 4-2 at the DBAP on Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2014.  The Bulls won three straight games in the best-of-Five series and will now move on to face the Pawtucket Red Sox at the Governors’ Cup Final.

The Bulls will defend their title against Pawtucket in a rematch of last year’s Championship Round.  Play will begin in Pawtucket, RI, and then move to the DBAP for Game Three on Thursday, September 11thTickets are now on sale for the Thursday game at the DBAP, as well as Game Four and Five (if necessary) on Friday and Saturday at the DBAP.

The Bulls recently announced the extension of their Player Development Contract with the Tampa Bay Rays, which will lengthen the Bulls’ affiliation with the Rays through the end of the 2018 season.
