Several Capitol Broadcasting staffers from various departments represented CBC at the annual Carolina Parent Women@Work Breakfast in honor of the company’s 2014 inclusion on the publication’s N.C. Family-Friendly 50 list.

The breakfast, featuring keynote speaker and local personality Sharon Delaney McCloud, took place at the Embassy Suites in Cary.  She spoke about “How to Turn Battle Scars Into Badges of Honor” and by sharing her own life crises challenged the audience to think about how to turn their own struggles around.

Staff at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School helped Carolina Parent whittle down the list of applicants to the final 50 honorees.  Companies of all sizes were ranked on family-friendly benefits and culture.

CBC made the list for the ninth time this year.
