Voting for the 2^nd Annual MIX 101.5 Christmas Choir Competition is now underway.  Beginning Monday, December 1, 2014, MIX debuted the first three semi-finalists in Division 1, which includes grades K-8.  Listeners went online to vote for their favorite all day.  Three more semi-finalists were revealed on Tuesday, and the remaining three on Wednesday.  The top vote getter each day will now compete on Thursday, December 4^th to become the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners.  Each of the three finalists will win cash for the music program at their schools, with the top prize earning $5,000.

Division 2, grades 9-12, will compete next week in the same manner.  Three semi-finalists will compete on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with the top vote getter from each day advancing to Thursdays finalist round.

The Triangle’s Official Christmas Music Station, MIX 101.5 will continue playing the entries all throughout the holiday season along with favorite holiday songs already playing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Mark your calendars for Monday, December 15!  Join MIX at Crabtree Valley Mall at 6:30pm for our first Christmas Choir Concert!  See MIX’s first, second and third place winners from Division I and II perform their winning entries LIVE.  The performance will be inside on the second level in front of Sears.
