MIX 101.5 Expands Annual Backpack Buddies Food Drive Into Day-Long MediaThon with WRAL-TV

BackPack BuddiesThis year MIX 101.5 and WRAL-TV are joining forces to mount a MediaThon to benefit the BackPack Buddies Program at the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.  Over the past several years, WRAL-FM has held an annual food drive to support the program that helps feed Triangle children in need over the weekends during the school year.  This year MIX 101.5 is expanding to include sister television station WRAL in a effort to help support the worthy program in an even bigger way.

The day-long community event will take place on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, on TV, radio, the web and your mobile device to help raise food and funds to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s child hunger programs.

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is feeding children at risk of hunger right now, and nurturing long-term solutions that provide access to fresh, healthy food.
