Coach Steve Logan returns to 99.9 The Fan and WRAL-TV
99.9 The Fan and Capitol Broadcasting welcome back Coach Steve Logan to our team on radio, television and digital. The Former East Carolina Head Coach recently returned from one year in the NFL as Quarterbacks Coach for the San Francisco 49’ers, and will be our NFL and College Football Insider for the 2016-17 season. Logan had worked with Capitol Broadcasting from 2013-2015 as a Football Insider with radio, TV & digital. Everything that Coach Logan executes on all platforms will be branded as ‘The Logan Zone”.
Logan will make one-hour radio appearances on Fridays throughout the football season starting September 2nd on 99.9 The Fan and Buzz Sports Radio. He will also host his own radio show on Saturdays, starting September 3rd from 10a-12p on 99.9 The Fan. Logan will also be paired with WRAL-TV Sports Anchor Jeff Gravley on Sundays September 4th – November 27th at 11am on WRAL. And he will also have television contributions on Friday 11p newscasts on WRAL-TV and special weekly video features to stream at WRALsportsfan.com.
Dennis Glasgow, Capitol Broadcasting sports radio operations manager and program director says, “We’re thrilled to have Coach Logan back on our team. He’s built up a lot of equity in the Triangle and there’s no one better that will tell it like it is in regard to the NFL and College Football. There’s only a handful of people in our business that have lived the game of football, and are able to articulate it with the passion and candid manner like Coach Logan”.
Logan, who lives in Raleigh, NC, has coached at Oklahoma, Hutchinson Community College, Tulsa, Colorado, Mississippi State, East Carolina, Berlin Thunder in NFL Europe, Boston College, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the San Francisco 49’ers in the NFL.
Coach Logan says, “I am thrilled to come back with some great blues music, a little wine advice and a lot of football.”
