The August edition of Out and About TV, a monthly TV series inspired by our popular website, airs Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on WRAL.

This month, go oyster shucking at a place known for fresh local seafood and an electric atmosphere. Meet a local band with deep Raleigh roots who say brewing beer may be their greatest achievement yet.

Take a trip to Saxapahaw to experience amazing farm fresh food, farm house ales, and the Haw River. We preview Downtown Raleigh Restaurant week, and the exciting new ways to have fun and eat great in downtown Raleigh. Plus, a world famous artist talks about a local installation.
