National Academy of Television Arts & SciencesThe Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced their annual Emmy nominees on Thursday, November 17, 2016, and WRAL-TV is proud to have made the list multiple times.  The station received a total of 17 nominations, including the overall nomination for News Excellence and a nod for Technical Achievement.

The Emmy winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN, on January 21, 2017.  The event will mark the 31st presentation of the Mid-South Emmy Awards.
