The 2016 MIX 101.5 Christmas Choir Competition entries are in and the first semifinalists will debut on the radio today. Over the next several weeks listeners will be able to vote among semifinalists and finalists to determine the winners in two different divisions. Then the winning schools will perform at a special concert at Crabtree Valley Mall on Monday, December 12, and Tuesday, December 13.
Division I includes elementary and middle school entries, while Division II includes high school entries.
Here’s what you’ll be able to hear when:
- Listen to Division I Semifinalists and vote online – Nov 28 – 30
- Listen to Division I Finalists and vote online – Dec 1
- Division I Winner announced on MIX 101.5 Morning Show – Dec 2
- Listen to Division II Semifinalists and vote online – Dec 5 – 7
- Listen to Division II Finalists and vote online – Dec 8
- Division II Winner announced on MIX 101.5 Morning Show – Dec 9
MIX listeners can cast your vote online at www.wralfm.com during the voting periods listed above.
After the winners are revealed, all the finalists’ songs will continue to play on MIX 101.5 as part of their all-Christmas music through Christmas Day.
