Team, Clothing Company Team Up for Second Uniform Collaboration
The Durham Bulls and RUNAWAY today unveil the uniform for the team’s second-ever DURM Night, to be held on Thursday, June 8 at 7:05 p.m. The collaboration between the organization and the clothing company marks the second straight season a RUNAWAY designed uniform will be worn on-field by the Bulls, and the jerseys will once again be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting the Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League.
The uniform features a black base, with blue stripes in the shape of Durham’s famous warehouses. The city skyline is also prominent, with ‘DURM’ in script across the jersey’s chest. The team’s hats for that evening will be all black, with ‘DURM’ emblazoned across the front, highlighted by white trim. To view the full jersey and details, click here.
“We are ecstatic to be collaborating with the Bulls again,” RUNAWAY founder and Creative Director Gabriel Eng-Goetz said. “This is such a special night for the City, and this year we’re turning it up a notch as the design of the uniform is inspired by Durham’s unique architectural history.”
In addition to the on-field uniforms, the team will celebrate with a special RUNAWAY Light Ale from Bull Durham Beer Co. The brew will be available both at the DBAP for the evening’s game, and at The Bullpen, where a postgame after party will be held. Fans are encouraged to make their way to the taproom after the game, located beyond the DBAP’s left field plaza, where Zoocrü will be performing a live music set.
“The team from RUNAWAY has once again developed a top-notch uniform for the Bulls to wear,” Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said. “These uniforms do a great job paying homage to the City, while also reflecting the current, vibrant culture of Durham today.”
