$1 Concessions, Kids Run the Bases Also Scheduled for Weekend Series
The Durham Bulls open a four-game series against the Norfolk Tides on Thursday, June 8 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The weekend set features the team’s second annual DURM Night, $1 Concessions, two fireworks shows and Kids Run the Bases.
The homestand opens against the Tides on Thursday, June 8 at 7:05 p.m. with DURM Night, as for the second consecutive season the Bulls have paired with Durham clothing company RUNAWAY for a uniform collaboration. The team will wear specially-designed uniforms that evening, and the uniforms will be auctioned off online with all proceeds benefiting Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League.
Thursday’s contest is presented by NC By Train, and will feature $1 Concessions as Bright Leaf hot dogs, soda and popcorn are just a buck all night long.
The Bulls and Baltimore Orioles’ top affiliate will meet on Friday, June 9 at 7:05 p.m. The evening’s contest is presented by Allscripts, and following the game will be a Friday Night Fireworks show presented by bioMerieux.
The third game of the four-game set will take place on Saturday, June 10 at 6:35 p.m., and is presented by Safelite AutoGlass. After the contest will be the second consecutive postgame fireworks show, presented by JT’s Landscaping.
The homestand against Norfolk concludes on Sunday, June 11 at 5:05 p.m. with Bike to the Ballpark, presented by GoTriangle. That evening the first 200 fans to ride their bike to the DBAP will receive a free goody bag, consisting of both gifts from the Bulls and GoTriangle. Additionally, any person who rides his or her bike to the ballpark will receive 15% off a ticket to the game. Following Sunday’s contest children get to show off their speed with Kids Run the Bases presented by Nature’s Twist.
