As the Durham Bulls wrap up their final homestand of the season on Sunday, DBBC Radio Broadcaster Patrick Kinas will be approaching the last game with the same extensive preparation and energy as the first. Raleigh’s News & Observer recently put together a feature on the Bulls’ broadcaster:

News & Observer: A young boy in the heartland talks into a tape recorder. And a career is born.

During the off-season you can catch Kinas in the Olympic zone again. Last summer he called the swimming action in Rio, and this winter he’ll be doing play-by-play for figure skating and short track speed skating at the Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
