WRAL-TV Wins AP Outstanding NC News Operation, RTDNAC Honors at 2017 Banquet

2017 RTDNAC/AP Awards - WRAL

WRAL-TV won six first place awards at the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas (RTDNAC) and the Associated Press (AP) 2017 awards luncheon on Saturday, November 11, 2017. WRAL-TV brought home 15 total awards, including Outstanding News Operation in NC.  WRAL-TV has now won that award nine times in 12 years.

The RTDNAC and AP awards competition recognizes the best of TV, radio, website and collegiate work.  The 2017 event took place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.  A number of WRAL staffers were on hand to represent the station.
